What it does
QC Task Nudge & Health watches when Joomla is expected to need scheduler attention and sends a secure wake-up through Joomla's native WebCron system when appropriate. Task Nudge does not replace Joomla's Scheduler or directly execute extension code: Joomla remains responsible for choosing and running the next eligible Scheduled Task. It works alongside Joomla's Lazy Scheduler, providing an additional external wake-up path during quiet periods and for overdue work. This helps backups, maintenance, notifications, cleanup, synchronization, and other scheduled jobs run closer to when they are expected, and for many sites can eliminate the need to create and maintain a separate server cron job. QCTNH also provides scheduler health, service status, recent activity, diagnostics, and registration-recovery tools.
