What makes a strong suggestion?
You do not need to understand Joomla development or submit a complete software specification. Explain the idea, the people who would use it, what they should be able to accomplish, and what would make the experience useful or enjoyable.
- Describe what people should be able to do or experience.
- Explain who would use it and why it would matter to them.
- Share how the idea is handled today, when a current process or workaround exists.
- Identify the capabilities that are essential to the concept.
- Mention related platforms, providers, devices, or integrations.
- Let us know whether you would be interested in testing early builds.
From suggestion to production
QC Digital Signature demonstrates the complete idea-to-product process. It began with the concept of a complete electronic-signature experience built around Joomla. The need and workflow were discussed, refined, developed, tested, and released into production as a supported QuantaCade extension.
Today, QC Digital Signature provides private signing areas, secure no-login signer links, reusable templates, invitations and reminders, completed PDFs, audit trails, and configurable email templates.
One thoughtful idea can become the foundation of a complete QuantaCade product.
How the program works
Every suggestion and all related communication remain organized inside QC Support Ticket. The original submission, attachments, questions, answers, early builds, and testing feedback stay together in one private conversation.
1. Submit the idea
Open an Extension Suggestion through QC Support Ticket and explain what people should be able to do.
2. Continue the conversation
QuantaCade may ask questions about the need, workflow, audience, preferences, examples, or current workaround.
3. Selection and development
Selected ideas enter the QuantaCade development board and may be shaped into complete, reusable Joomla products.
4. Testing and release
Selected contributors may receive early builds, provide practical feedback, and help validate the experience before release.
Selection means the concept has earned a place on the QuantaCade development board. It does not guarantee a start date, completion date, exact feature set, or public release. A selected idea may evolve as it is generalized, designed, tested, and prepared for broader Joomla use.
What selected contributors receive
When QuantaCade formally selects an Extension Suggestion, a $25 QuantaCade account credit is added to the submitter's account. The selected contributor may receive relevant early builds and may be consulted through the QCST request for questions, preferences, examples, and testing.
If the resulting extension reaches a stable production release, the selected contributor receives two years of complimentary Max access to that extension. The two-year period begins when the production release becomes available.
The account credit is non-cash and non-transferable. Complimentary Max access applies to the resulting extension and does not automatically include All Access or unrelated QuantaCade products.
QuantaCade builds and owns the product
The Extension Suggestion Program is not commissioned custom development. There is no development fee, sponsorship payment, customer-controlled build, ownership transfer, royalty, exclusivity, veto right, or approval authority.
QuantaCade independently decides whether a suggestion is selected and retains full ownership and control of any resulting extension, including its name, branding, architecture, scope, features, interface, plans, pricing, schedule, testing, release, licensing, documentation, maintenance, public distribution, and future roadmap.
Your feedback may help QuantaCade understand the idea and real-world workflow. It is advisory and does not create a client, contractor, employment, partnership, or commissioned-development relationship. Similar suggestions may be combined into one broader product.
